(kindergarten) and spring 2008 (first grade) only. The Department
will submit any nonsubstantive changes to the questions or data
collection procedures for OMB approval using the change worksheet
(83-C). For substantive changes, the Department will submit a full
revised package for OMB review.

The original Classroom Literacy
Interventions and Outcomes(CLIO)study examined enhanced family
literacy interventions in Even Start and impacts on parent and
child outcomes during the intervention period. The CLIO follow-up
study will examine whether effects from preschool are sustained
through the early school years.
