Partnership for a Nation of Learners (PNL) Survey of Applicants
1. Welcome!
Dear Partnership for a Nation of Learners Applicant,
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB)
thank you for your application to receive a Partnership for a Nation of Learners Community Collaboration
grant in 2005 and/or 2006.
This survey, which is being sent to all applicants, is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the PNL
application process. In addition, IMLS and CPB are interested to hear about what you learned through the
application process, your current partnering activity, and what PNL opportunities and resources you are
interested in learning more about.
CPB and IMLS will use your valuable comments in their continuing efforts to promote and support
collaborations between libraries, museums, and public broadcasters through the PNL initiative. Their hope is
that these collaborations will occur more frequently and more effectively in the future and that continued
improvements to PNL will promote those outcomes.
This is the only survey we will send you about your PNL application. Your completion of the survey, which can
be done in 15-20 minutes, is voluntary. Your individual response will ben seen only by CPB's contractor for
this survey. All information that you supply will be aggregated with information from other respondents to
help us understand our applicants' experience.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. If you have any questions about this survey, please
contact Karen Motylewski, IMLS Evaluation Officer, at 202-653-4686, [email protected]
