Tenant data is collected understand
demographic, family profile, income, and housing information for
participants in the Public Housing, Section 8 Housing Choice
Voucher, Section 8 Project Based Certificate, Section 8 Moderate
Rehabilitation, and Moving to Work Demonstration programs. This
data also allows HUD to monitor the performance of programs and the
performance of publc housing agencies that administer the
programs.
The average annual reporting
and record-keeping burden has increased, as compared to the current
OMB inventory, by 700,862 hours. The burden increased is due to
revised minutes per response value that was adjusted after
consultation with PHAs.
