On October 17, 1997, the Commission
released a Report and Order and Second FNPRM, FCC 97-376. Among
other things, FCC 97-376 finalized the Commission's rules
concerning the disposition of home wiring and cable wiring in
multiple- dwelling units. These rules, as well as the Commission's
signal leakage rules, now apply to all non-cable multichannel views
program distributors. On January 29, 2003, the Commission adopted
in the Report and Order and Second FNPR. The 2nd R&O also
resolves issues raised by the Commission relating to exclusive and
perpetual contracts and other matters. On April 4, 2004, the
Commission released a Report and Order, FCC 04-75, In the Matter of
Extend Interference Protection to the Marine and Aeronautical
Distress and Safety Frequency 406.025 MHz. In this Order, the
Commission removed the rule and the reporting requirements of 47
CFR Section 76.620 that was previously recorded in this
collection.
The Commission had a program
change to this information collection due to the release of a
Report and Order released on April 14, 2004, FCC 04-75, In the
Matter of Extend Interference Protection to the Marine and
Aeronautical Distress and Safety Frequency 406.025 MHz which
removed the reporting requirements of 47 CFR 76.620 from this
collection of information.
