SURVEY
The following information is provided in Compliance with OMB requirements and pursuant to the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.:
The estimated hourly burden for filing this report is less than .5 hours. Respondents are invited to
notify the agency if this estimate is inaccurate.
Information in the Annual Waybill Compliance Survey is collected to determine if the responding
railroad meets the 4500 terminating carload requirement and therefore must participate in the
annual STB Carload Waybill Sample. The revenue information is used to determine whether other
statutory and/or regulatory requirements may apply.
The information in this report is ordinarily maintained by the agency in hard copy for one year,
after which it is disposed of.
Information collected through this report is not published.
The display of a currently valid OMB control number for this collection is required by law.
