Abstract: The proposed expansion of permissible activities for savings and loan holding companies (SLHCs) under section 10(c)(2)(F)(i) of the Home Owners' Loan Act (HOLA) will result in the collection of additional information. Section 10(c)(4) of the HOLA requires SLHCs to obtain OTS approval prior to commencing any activity described in section 10(c)(2)(F)(i) of the HOLA. Additionally, the amendment of 12 CFR 584.4 to conform with the statute by including an approval process for covered acquisitions is a new collection of information.
