Abstract: This collection is needed to provide a designated procedure for persons or organizations listed on the Entity List to request removal or modification of the entry that affects them. The Entity List appears at (15 C.F.R. Part 744, Supp. No.1). It is used to inform the public of certain parties whose presence in a transaction that is subject to the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 – 799) requires a license from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).

Short Statement: This collection us voluntary and provide designated procedure for persons or organizations listed on the Entity List to request removal or modification. The Entity List (Supplement No. 4 to Part 744 of the EAR) provides notice to the public that certain exports and reexports to parties identified on the Entity List require a license from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and that availability of License Exceptions in such transactions is limited.
