The Fish and Wildlife Service will use
the information to evaluate applications and make decisions
according to criteria established in Federal laws and regulations
on the issuance, denial, suspension, or revocation of wildlife
permits and authorizations.
We are requesting 113 burden
hours for this information collection. Both of the application
forms are a result of our efforts to streamline and improve the
application process for the public. In addition, new CITES
resolutions recommend the use of simplified procedures, where
applicable, for issuing CITES documents.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
