On April 25, 2007, the FCC adopted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, MB Docket 07-91, FCC 07-70, to consider the procedures/rules necessary to complete the nation's transition to DTV, including how best to ensure that broadcaster complete construction of facilities on their final, post-transition (digital) channel by the statutory deadline of February 17, 2009. On April 25, 2007, the Commission adopted a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) in the Matter of the Commission's Third Period Review of the Commission's Rules and Policies Affecting the Conversion to Digital Television, MB Docket No. 07-91, FCC 07-70. This program change will increase the annual burden by 25 hours. There is also an adjustment to this information collection due to the consolidation of OMB Control Number 3060-0374 into this collection 3060-0216.
