NEW FREEDOM INITIATIVE
CAREGIVING SATELLITE BROADCAST TRAINING SERIES
The New Freedom Initiative (NFI) Caregiving Subcommittee, composed of all HHS agencies, as well as other federal partners, was established to identify and coordinate existing caregiver support activities across agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The workgroup is a sub-group of the President’s New Freedom Initiative. Over the coming months, the NFI Caregiving Subcommittee will sponsor a series of satellite broadcast events on issues that are important to caregivers and service providers. These events are intended to bring greater awareness and sensitivity to challenges and opportunities in caregiving, and improve the coordination of resources and services for providers, caregivers and outside partners
