This ICR is
approved on the understanding that NIH will report back to OMB (on
such things like results of experiments, response rates,
nonresponse rates, etc.) after completing the pilot and before
initiating the full-scale survey. Before initiating the full-scale
survey, NIH will submit either a nonsubstantive change request or a
revision, as appropriate. NIH will also explore the effect on
response rates, among the Hispanic/Latino ethnic population, of not
having fully bilingual materials available. NIH will consider
providing fully bilingual materials for the 2009 round of
HINTS.
