Type certificate holders and
applicants for type certificates and supplemental type certificates
must develop maintenance and inspection tasks for their airplanes
to identify, correct and prevent wire conditions that introduce
risk to safe flight. They must make these tasks available to
operators. Operators must revise their inspection and maintenance
programs to include wiring tasks. Manufacturers must label wiring
with additional information and revise their standard wiring
practices manuals.
