Abstract: SAMHSA/CSAT is presently funded to develop and test D-ATM, a system that will allow Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) to access limited specific dosage data for patients seeking their ongoing treatment who have been displaced due to service disruptions affecting the OTP from which they would normally obtain treatment. Such circumstances range from that of disaster scenarios, such as terrorist attack or hurricanes, to more localized events such as power outages. Development of this system will ultimately increase the overall safety, continuity and quality of health care provided to the patients in these treatment programs.
