The NCUA needs the information to handle requests and subpoenas seeking nonpublic records or the testimony of NCUA employees. The NCUA will use the information to decide how and whether it will disclose nonpublic records and permit employees to testify. Respondents will most likely be persons involved in legal proceedings.
