Abstract: SSA plans to revise CFR sections 404 and 416 to 1) expand multiple new hearing-level procedures from the Boston region to all SSA regions and 2) make other changes to the administrative appellate process. These new rules will apply to hearing on both disability benefits and non-disability matters. The respondents are claimants for social secuirty benefits and/or SSI payments and/or their representatives.
