Abstract: TSCA section 8(a) rules require persons to notify EPA if they manufacture, import or process or propose to manufacture, import or process the chemical substance or mixture identified in the 8(a) rule. This notice enables EPA to monitor the production, importation and use of the identified chemical substance or mixture.
