SECTION 2 SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT

Citation	2.4	Collection and Distribution of Support Payments
§§§ 454(11), 454(34) and 457of the Act		Amounts collected as support are distributed as provided under section 457of the Act.
		Any payment required to be made to a family is made to the resident parent, legal guardian, or caretaker relative having custody of or responsibility for the child or children.
		The State distributes arrearages in former assistance cases in accordance with: Former Section 457(a)(2)(B) of the Act as in effect for the State immediately prior to February 8, 2005; or Section 457(a)(2)(B) of the Act as amended by Section 7301 of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 (P.L. 109 -171)
		The effective date of the requirements in sections 454(34) and 457 of the Act, as amended by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 is: October 1, 2009; or A date up to a year prior to October 1, 2009
