Other changes** There are two changes to the form. First is the recognition that capital advance mortgage no longer has to be a valid first lien on the property. HUD will accept other liens being placed in a superior position to HUD’s capital advance mortgage. Secondly, the form recognizes in a mixed-finance transaction that the sponsor may keep the capital advance funds and lend them to the mixed-finance owner rather than assigning the capital advance funds to the mixed-finance owner.
