Other changes** Application Form’s Instructions have been revised to provide applicants updated instructions and specific references to requirements for supplemental exhibits required for FHA Approval. This includes where to download the lender approval handbooks and how to contact the FHA Resource Center that has toll-free phone access. Ginnie Mae’s addresses have been updated.
The actual application form has been made into a fillable and savable Word file that can be submitted either electronically or in paper form. Some minor wording changes were made in Sections A and C, to make it clearer to the applicants what information is being requested. More choices of “applicant types” were added in Section A to reflect the terminology used in the mortgage industry.
The information being requested has not been changed, but the updated instructions, addresses and terminology should make it easier for applicants to fill out the application form and know what supplemental information to submit.
