OPIC-50 is submitted by eligible
investors to register their International investment and ultimately
to seek OPIC insurance. By submitting Form 50 prior to making an
irrevocable commitment, the incentive effect of OPIC is
demonstrated.
OPIC has automated the
registration process to enable filers to submit this form
electronically through an online database. The form will be
available on OPIC's website (www.opic.gov) and in Word on disk, at
the investor's request. The number of responses has dropped from
343 to 333 because of this automated process. Investors are now
able to go online to review the form and decided whether or not to
fill it out.
