SUBJECT: Request for Approval of the Application for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Historically Black Graduate Institutions Programs (CFDA 84.031B)
Attached for your review and approval is the application package for the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Historically Black Graduate Institutions (HBGI) Programs. We are requesting a three-year approval. The application will be used for the fiscal year 2008 competition, which will be held in Spring 2008.
The attached ICR Part I, ICR Part II, Supporting Statement, and the Application for the Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Historically Black Graduate Institutions program are being submitted as required for approval of a data collection instrument.
I recommend that you transmit the package to OMB for review and clearance.
