The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program and Fostering Undergraduate Talent by Unlocking Resources for Education (FUTURE) Act 2019 Program are authorized by Title III, Part B and Part F, respectively. The purpose of these programs is to provide historically Black institutions with resources to establish or strengthen their physical plants, financial management, academic resources, and endowments. The U.S. Department of Education is requesting an extension of this currently approved application in order to collect data needed to make new and non-competing continuation awards.
