Special Census
Privacy Act and Interview Information
The U.S. Census Bureau is conducting a special census to provide current population and housing
counts for this area. This census has been approved by the Office of Management and Budget under
OMB Number 0607-0368, which expires on 05/31/2008. Without this number, we could not conduct
this census. The Census Bureau collects this information for statistical purposes only. The project is
authorized by Title 13, Section 196, of the United States Code. Section 9 of this law assures that your
answers will be kept confidential. Your local government has requested and paid for this special
census because of a specific need for up-to-date population and housing data.
Although there are no penalties for failure to answer any question in this voluntary census, your
cooperation is extremely important in obtaining needed information to ensure the completeness and
accuracy of the final results. We estimate that it will take about 7 minutes to complete this interview. If
you have any comments regarding this census, including suggestions for reducing its length, send

Our Office of Management and Budget clearance has been extended until 05/31/2008. If your
form has an expiration date of 05/31/2005, that is because we are using up our existing stock of
forms to reduce costs to your community.
