BLM uses the information to determine whether an applicant is eligible to receive a right-of-way grant, whether the grant is necessary, whether its location and configuration are appropriate.
The adjustments reported are based on three factors:
1) The ICR includes data from four additional agencies;
2) BLM estimates of numbers of applications and burden hours are adjusted based on program experience during the reporting period; and
3) Cost recovery fees have been adjusted.
