Justification for a No Material Non-substantive Change
An optional form is being provided as an aid to collecting and recording mine rescue team certification information to MSHA. Although certain information must be provided to MSHA, there is not a requirement for the format of the report. Further, the optional form does not collect any new or different information than what OMB has already approved under this control number with respect to the requirements of 30 CFR Part 49 subpart B. The form may be printed from the MSHA.gov website, completed and then mailed to MSHA.
