Abstract: Part 239 of the DFARS prescribes policies and procedures for security and privacy of computer systems, acquisitions of information technology by DOD contractors, and acquisition of telecommunications services. Respondents are DOD contractors providing information necessary to protect sensitive information and to ensure that DOD pays reasonable prices for telecommunications services and special construction associated with telecommunications services.
