The information collection requirements of the Standard are directed toward assuring the safety and health of divers exposed to hyper baric conditions during and after undersea activities. Also, the required recordkeeping is intended to bring about a safe workplace and assure the safety of divers. There are no program changes associated with this ICR; however, the Agency is now providing a cost for the employer to mail records with expired retention periods to NIOSH in the amount of $2,765.
