The new reporting questions in eGrants streamline the reporting process and place more responsibility on grantees to monitor and aggregate data on performance of their subgrantees. It combines the new demographic reporting elements that were recently cleared by OMB (OMB 3045-0125, expiration 12/31/2010) with fields that quantify performance measurement data, and the same narrative fields we have been using (OMB 3045-0202, expiration 5.31.2008). The following side-by-side shows what is new and what is already approved in this proposed consolidated ICR.
Former Reporting Elements |
Proposed Reporting Elements |
Collected number of non-member volunteers only. |
New approved set of demographic reporting elements (OMB 3045-0125, expiration 12/31/2010) |
ICR included annual reporting tool for subgrantees to input performance information on each measure. |
No longer part of the ICR. Grantee collects information from subgrantees and reports on entire grant. |
Performance measurement could not be aggregated. Grantees reported on subgrantee outputs and outcomes in text fields. |
Performance measurement data can be aggregated. Grantees report on progress per measure resulting in a percentage of measures met and unmet that can be provided to OMB and other stakeholders. (OMB 3045-0202, expiration 5.31.2008). |
Narrative fields |
Added a narrative field on activities related to Corporation strategic initiatives. (OMB 3045-0202, expiration 5.31.2008). |
