The purpose of the Evaluation of the Impact of Teacher Induction Programs is to evaluate the impact of comprehensive teacher induction programs on teacher retention, classroom practices, and student achievement. The evaluation employs a random assignment design to compare the outcomes of the teachers who are provided with a comprehensive induction program with the outcomes of teachers who receive their district's normal induction program.
