The Department of Energy needs this information to measure current knowledge and opinions concerning hydrogen and fuel cell technologies in the United States. The target population consists of 200 officials that are responsible for developing, adopting, and/or enforcing codes and standards related to hydrogen and fuel cell safety. This information will be used to formulate an overall education plan for hydrogen technologies, as well as a specific education plan for codes officials.
