Railroad companies and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) use this information to evaluate the qualifications and fitness of individuals to be certified as locomotive engineers, remote control operators, and train service engineers.
The total burden has increased by 67,432 hours. The burden increase is due solely to adjustments. A detailed list of the estimates that were revised is included in the answer to question number 15 of the attached Suppporting Justification.
