Infomation submitted to the Commission
will be used to assign licenses, to determine regional spectrum
requirements, and to develop technical standards. It will also be
used to determine whether prospective licensees will operate in
compliance with the Commission's rules. Without such information,
the Commission could not accommodate regional requirements or
provide for the optimal use of the available frequencies.
Information provided to, or exchanged among, third parties will be
used to establish eligibility and to prevent harmful
interference.
The program change increase
reflects the addition of section 90.1211, a voluntary filing
requirement, to this ICR. Adjustments are due to efficiencies
gained through the use of regionial plan document templates, the
use of a pre-allocation and frequency coordination database by
Regional Planning Committees, and to a more detailed breakdown of
the various ICs associated each rule section covered by this
ICR.
