The Railroad Retirement Board
administers the Medicare program for persons covered by the
Railroad Retirement system. The collection obtains the information
needed to determine eligibility for and the amount due for covered
hospital services received in Canada.
A review of the estimated
annual responses was conducted by RRB Programs staff. It was
determined that a reduction in the estimate was required. The
revised requested estimate of 35 responses (a reduction of -15
responses and -2 hours burden) is based on the amount of actual
responses received in FY 2007.
