The Railroad Retirement Board
administers the Medicare program for persons covered by the
railroad retirement system. The collection obtains the information
needed to determine eligibility for and the amount due for covered
hospital services received in Canada.
The total burden has decreased
from 35 responses to 30 (-5) and from 6 burden hours to 5 (-1) due
to improved tracking methods. We have shown the change in burden as
an adjustment.
