I acknowledge that making materially false statements in this application is a crime under federal law, punishable by fines of up to $250,000 and up to 30 years in prison, under the following statues: 18 U.S.C. § 1040 (30 years), 18 U.S.C. § 1001 (5 years), and 15 U.S.C. § 645(2 years). I further acknowledge that if my loan is approved, at the closing, I will be asked to sign an copy of this application certifying under penalty of criminal prosecution that all information and documentation that I have provided is truthful and accurate.
