The MMS collects the information to determine whether an OCS facility will have a significant effect on the air quality and readiness of an offshore lessee to prevent or contain pollution in offshore waters. Respondents are Outer Continental Shelf Federal oil and gas and sulphur lessees and/or operators.
The currently approved OMB inventory is 226,451 burden hours for 30 CFR Part 250, Subpart C requirements for this collection. This submissions requests 198,866. The adjustment decrease of 27,585 hours is due to re-estimating the average number of annual responses and the hour burden required to respond based on consultations.
