In general, the Proposed Regulations provide updating, clarifying, and simplifying guidance on discrete aspects of the public approval requirement under section 147(f) (the Âpublic approval requirementÂ). The Proposed Regulations provide guidance that focuses generally on the scope, content, process, and timing for reasonable public notices, public hearings, and public approvals of tax-exempt private activity bonds under section 147(f).
