The FCC adopted allocation and service
rules for the 698-746 MHz spectrum band, which was reallocated
pursuant to statutory requirements, in order to support the
development of new services in the Lower 700 MHz Band while still
protecting television operations that continue to occupy the band
throughout the transition to digital television.
The increase in the hourly
burden is due to the consolidation of two information collections
(3060-1008 and 3060-1027)and the revised requirements adopted in
the 2007 Report and Order. Therefore, the Commission is reporting
an adjustment increase for this IC.
