regulatory capital framework known as Basel II. Basel II recognizes
developments in financial products, incorporates advances in risk
measurements and management, and assesses capital requirements that
are generally more sensitive to risk. This ICR is associated with
supervisory review guidance issued to supplement a final rule
adopting the internal ratings-based approach for calculating
regulatory credit risk capital and the advanced measurement
approaches for calculating regulatory operational risk
capital.
