This report collects data on deposits
and related items from depository institutions. These mandatory
data are used by the Federal Reserve for constructing, analyzing,
and controlling the monetary and reserves aggregates and for
administering Regulation D (Reserve Requirements of Depository
Institutions).
The number of FR 2900 weekly
respondents increased from 2,752 to 2,996 and the number of FR 2900
quarterly respondents decreased from 6,093 to 5,045 resulting in a
net increase of 29,736 burden hours.
