Miscellaneous Actions
The reduction in burden is not due to any program change. It is due to fewer actions and a more automated process. The IC sponsor took a very critical look at the burden buildup when renewing it and found it to be considerably overstated. Over the past three years, there has been a lot consolidated support activities resulting in fewer contracts. Increased use of IDIQ contracts has also contributed to the decrease in burden hours as most of the reporting is done at the basic contact level.
