This information collection is for a
pilot program for management of three rockfish fisheries in the
Central Gulf of Alaska (CGOA) in the Exclusive Economic Zone off
the coast of Alaska. The Program was developed to improve the
economic efficiency of the CGOA rockfish fisheries by establishing
cooperatives to provide exclusive harvesting and processing
privileges for a specific set of rockfish species and associated
species harvested incidentally to those CGOA rockfish. This action
adds an option for online submission for inter-cooperative
transfer, as part of the proposed rule RIN 0648-AW56.
The online transfer option for
the intercooperative CQ transfer reduces total hours by 15 (the
form takes 1 hour, rather than 2, to complete, for a total of 15
responses) and related costs by $45.
