Abstract: Owners of fishing vessels that fish for deepwater shrimp that are crustacean management unit species in Federal waters, or land crustacean management unit species in ports of, the western Pacific region must obtain a crustaceans fishing permit from NMFS. Vessel owners must mark their vessels for identification. Within 72 hours of the end of each fishing trip vessel operators must submit NMFS logbook reports of their fishing activity.
