Form 1120-W is used by
corporations to figure estimated tax liability and the amount of
each installment payment. Form 1120-W is a worksheet only. In
accordance with PL 110-246, modifications were made to implement
the addition of the alternative tax for corporations with qualified
timber gains. (Section 55(b)(4) and P.L. 110-246). These resulted
in a total burden increase of 3,515,576 hours. Adjustments were
made to the number of estimated responses to account for double
counting. This correction resulted in a decrease of 5,880
responses.
