The U.S. Department of Education is collecting this information to ensure that grantees are making significant progress in meeting goals and objectives of the grant and that funds are being spent in an allowable, allocable, and reasonable manner. The CACG statute requires grantees to submit an APR that contains activities and services that have been implemented, the cost of providing such activities and services, the number of participating students, and contributions from private organizations.
