OMB looks
forward to a report from NCES after its field test about further
discussions with its expert panel about the need for a science
assessment and progress on the asessment development if NCES
determines that it would like to proceed. Further, OMB looks
forward to a full report about how the vision and hearing screening
efforts are progressing, as well as efforts to minimize burden on
children during the full scale study.
