This statement covers a feasibility
test for the Design Phase of the National Study of Child Care
Supply and Demand--2010 (NSCCSD), sponsored by the Administration
for Children & Families (ACF), Department of Health and Human
Services. The Design Phase is constructing sampling and
questionnaire designs and other plans and recommendations for the
NSCCSD, which will be the first national survey of child care
supply and demand in America in twenty years during which the use
and funding of early care and education as well as (before and)
after-school care has changed dramatically.
