OSHA is proposing to decrease
the existing burden hour estimate for the collection of information
requirements specified by the Standard. The decrease was due to a
reduction, based on updated data, of the number of permit spaces,
the number of establishments with permit spaces, and the number of
permit space entrants.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
