Dear Dr. Heyman,

The purpose of this memo is to inform you of a change in the incentive amount (from $75.00 to $40.00) for in-depth interview participants in this upcoming study.

AED, on behalf of its client the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), plans to conduct formative research using in-depth interviews by phone with school nurses, school counselors, school psychologists, and school administrators. The respondents sought for this research consist of up to 45 school professionals. Interviews will last 60 minutes or less.

An incentive of $75.00 was planned for this project. AED has been informed by the CDC Office of Management and Budget (OMB) that the customary incentive for a 60 minute interview sponsored by the US government is $40.00. AED will reduce the incentive to $40.00 per participant.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this change.
