CDC is requesting OMB approval to conduct a cross-sectional, web-based survey of infection control professionals to evaluate the status of infection control practices pertaining to the control of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The purpose of this survey is to learn the degree of MRSA prevention practice implementation as outlined in the CDC prevention guidelines and evaluate the success of health care facilities' MRSA control activities in reducing the incidence of invasive MRSA.
